The warranty on Discount Computer, Inc. Systems is good for the specified time on your original invoice, either one, two or three years. This is an explanation of what is covered by the warranty and what is your responsibility related to repairs of your in-warranty computer system.
- Hardware Warranty: There are three causes of problems that can be experienced on a computer: Hardware, Software and User error. Your computer warranty covers the labor and parts for all hardware related problems. Software and user error related problems are not covered. Often the software and user-error problems can be fixed in just a few minutes and we may choose to provide this service free. However, if the trouble were more extensive, we would charge our standard hourly service fee.
- In-Store Repairs only: The warranty covers in-store repairs. If service is needed at your location labor charges would apply.
- Repair Turnaround Time: A Discount Computer, Inc. system that needs repair is our service department’s highest priority. If your computer needs service attention, a large percentage of the time we resolve it while you wait. Other times it may take a little longer to repair.
